For those of you who either don't know or just forgot: the teacher in Tamers is drawn a lot like the way grown-up Kari was drawn in the last episode of Digimon Adventure 02, where Kari was established to want to be a teacher herself. Building on the gag, the Saban dub gave her the same voice actress as Kari, and you'd better believe the fandom noticed.
Of course, the second punchline of this comic didn't even hit me until I was partway through drawing it. Just you wait, Takato. It'll take a few seasons, but your time will come...
