I’ve been running this hotend since day one of the Maurice build and so far I’ve found it’s weakness and it’s strength.
Weakness. Retractions. It needs less retraction like a Mosquito but unlike a mosquito being off slightly causes jamming. Lots of jamming. It struggles with lots of tiny retractions.

Replacing the gold thermal paste with boron nitride dropped internal temps 2C and lowering retractions to a point where I get buldging at seams and tiny wisps of filament has solved it.
The heatbreak boasts a very narrow filament path for a tight thermal transition but what it does is hate retractions. Filament expands when heated. So any retraction with PLA over 0.6mm caused partial clogging which is nonsense. That value gave me great seams. I’m running 0.3mm now and getting fine stringing and lazy seams but it’s no longer clogging.
Mind you the maker of this hotend stated it’s impossible to clog. Well... that’s a lie.
In the end I need a few hundred more hours to give it a true test but at least the prints turn out great but that’s more to do with the printer itself than the hotend.
