The con had a bunch of booths set up in the hotel lobby for various companies selling stuff, and one of them had a bunch of anime character cutouts set up around their table. And on Sunday morning, while everybody was busy waking up and clearing out their hotel rooms, I see this pack of kids just wander on over and walk out with one of the things! Like, they clearly weren't staff and it wasn't part of tear down or anything. They just up and stole the thing!
And after witnessing this literal crime unfold... I posted a cartoon about it on the internet months after the fact. People like me are the reason society is collapsing.
