Added 2024-05-01 22:51:08 +0000 UTCI mean, yeah, I really DO get there's plenty of real world reasons why they wouldn't want to give Rika this look permanently. I'm sure this would be noticeably more time consuming to draw than the regular shirt, even WITH the broken heart logo included, and that's not even getting into the question of whether or not early-aughts parents would be okay with a main character in that cartoon their kid watches wearing a frickin' skull all the time. Lord knows Tamers got enough complains from parents as it was. But still, it totally does fit the character than pastel blue.
...and yes, I realize that the very fact that my bring went straight to Harlock in order to write this makes the whole comic a giant self-own. How is this surprising to any of you?
