Added 2024-03-09 23:03:49 +0000 UTCThis is really more a dig at anime that reuse their own themes in-universe as a general thing than a specific complaint about Dirty Pair specifically. They're not even THAT bad about it (otherwise Kei would have just been listening to "Ru-Ru-Ru-Russian Roulette" in episode five). Still, unless it's being used in a transformation sequence or a climactic fight scene or some other "you need to feel pumped up right now" moment, I can't help laughing when the theme is used within the episode. I immediately get this mental image of an overly frugal Mom insisting on using EVERY scrap of leftovers no matter how sick you've gotten of that dish, only this time is a producer scramming some J-Pop down your throat... In fact, why didn't I draw THAT?
