Added 2024-02-17 19:06:35 +0000 UTCI'm always saying how I love the random engrish text anime used to use as filler back before anybody could just type anything into an online translator and copy/paste the results. It really does open me up to a plethora of rabbit holes, though, and my Google Fu isn't always up to the task of getting me where I want to go. It certainly LOOKS like the names on the second screen are also musicians, though Ginji Ito is the only one of the bunch I was able to find enough information about to really be satisfied. (Also, if you like proto-City Pop, definitely check out "Kaze Ni Nareru Nara," it's a real banger). Granted, it doesn't help that this "futuristic" computer font isn't the easiest to read, and the fact that they misspelled some of the westerner names ("Stevie Wondr?") means I might also have been searching for botched Japanese names too.
Basically, what I'm saying is: crap like this is why I so often get these pages done late.
