Bah blah blah update about the next round of voting
Added 2023-10-05 19:04:32 +0000 UTCMost people probably won't care about this one way or the other, but since it involves other people's money I wanted to make sure everything had been mentioned at some point.
I just put up a poll that $5-and-up patrons can vote in to help me decide on the next Weekly Anime Comic series. This poll isn't to actually pick the next series itself, but rather to decide between one of two potential sets of shows that the NEXT poll will be about. So if you want to be a part of the discussion whether or not the next series will be another Macross show or not, join the high rollers at $5 or more and tell me what to do!
But that's not the main reason I'm writing this. See, $5 a month is supposed to be the minimum for participating in ANY of the voting, but stuff keeps on happening and the voting keeps ending up weird. And, well, at least this time I'm announcing the weirdness in advance. When that SECOND poll goes live, I'll have it open to the $2 patrons as well the the $5-and-up crowd. See, the whole deal with the $2 level is supposed to be that you get blog posts on top of all the comics... but MAN I've been bad about getting blogs done lately. I mean, I've STARTED a lot of stuff, but a staggering amount of it just wound up not working and I couldn't finish them. And then last month I didn't even get one of those anime theme blogs done because I was too busy doing Halloween stuff... that I was going to post for free anyway. So to give you long-suffering patrons SOME bang for your buck, the $2 level patrons will get in on the next vote.
Clear as mud? Oh, you don't know the half of it, because there's a whole OTHER thing brewing in the near future that various levels of patrons will get to vote on in various ways as well. Isn't democracy fun?
