Added 2023-06-21 20:01:21 +0000 UTCSee, episode likes THIS were why I held off ragging on the frame rate in previous episodes. Episode 13 may technically be more fluid, but HOLD CRAP is this one of the more legendarily ugly ones. And yet, it somehow still manages to NOT be the absolute worst. Oh, we will travel down this road again...
But seriously, there's not exactly a "good" time for the subcontracted studio to turn out to be crap, but this feels like an especially tragic moment for everything to go all "quality" on us. Given how much of the episode is given over to the spies being astounded by everything they see, this episode especially REALLY could have used an extra visual OOMPH to make everything look that much more enticing. Instead... we just get a visual "ooof."
All that said, Derpy Hikaru and Misa were one of the more fun things I've drawn in a while.
