Seriously, though, I'm generally willing to let the silly misuse of resources demonstrated through this show slide, because it's honestly a pretty accurate depiction of human behavior. ("We're stranded in space and aliens are trying to kill us. WE NEED POP STARS!") But I still have to ask: WHO HAD THAT CROWN AND CAPE AND THRONE LAYING AROUND? I know it's weird that I can buy them being able to slap together new fighters on demand, yet I find the thought of somebody onboard the Macross being able to craft a fancy crown implausible... and that's the end of that sentence.
