So somebody made the deliberate decision to incorporate this embodiment of... certain otaku preferences into a show that, up to this point, had never had any characters who looked like this. I'm just pointing out that this is what occurred.
AND YES, I RECOGNIZE THE FUNDAMENTAL SILLINESS OF ME BEING THE ONE TO QUESTION THE INCLUSION OF CUTESY CHARACTERS. You still get what I mean, right?
