Added 2021-07-02 03:11:17 +0000 UTC...AND IT REALLY IS A VERY SWEET EPISODE, TOO! As always, CLAMP bends over backwards to carefully construct a situation where, IN THIS SPECIFIC CASE, everything works out fine and it's all safe and nothing is remotely questionable. It's just the seeming obliviousness to the notion of a world existing OUTSIDE of this warm, fuzzy bubble that concerns me. Seriously, I always hated those PSA messages they stuck on the end of kids shows back in the day, but the more I revisit this show, the more part of me actually does wish there was some kind of "Look, we KNOW the Real World doesn't work like this" disclaimer at the end... but then the rest of me doesn't want to lose Kero's little end-of-show vignettes.
Also, what am I complaining about? The past TWO comics didn't use a variation of this gag at all! I'm doing GREAT at keeping things varied!
