As if all my various cosplay stories over they years weren't proof enough, here's yet another example of how my personal comfort and enjoyment is the absolute BOTTOM priority for me at a con.
I have a rather embarrassing behind the scenes confession to make here, this page SHOULD have come out weeks ago. I got all set to work on the next Patreon comic, went to get all my stuff out... and couldn't find the pad with all my convention notes. It was just gone. Obviously, with time passing and a whole other convention taking place in the meantime, I REALLY needed notes to be able to remember anything. So here we are, just barely squeaking by at the end of the month again. It's especially frustrating because this is actually the last NC Comicon comic, which you'd never know by looking at it. What can I say? This was one of those cons that doesn't lend itself to a "big finish," so I was really hoping to make up for that by releasing the rest of the material really rapid-fire. Well, that and there WAS going to be one more page involving a GIF effect, but I couldn't get it to work, nor could I come up with a meta-joke about trying to make the comic that was actually funny. So screw it, we're moving on to Ichibancon.
OH! And I finally remembered to post a bigger image file than usual this time, and it looks like Patreon didn't ugly it up anywhere NEAR as bad as the previous comics. At least, that's what I think. Does it look alright to ya'll?
