I tried to think up Atlanta-related names and logos that don't exist anymore, and for some reason, I just immediately went for defunct sports teams. And hockey teams, at that; we've got the Thrashers, the Flames, and the Knights up there. Why no love for the Atlanta Chiefs? Sorry for the snub, soccer fans. Anyway, the only thing in that pile that's not sports related in some way is the logo for defunct oldies station Fox 97, which still may be the single greatest influence on my musical tastes for my entire life. ...though now that I think about it, how have I not had Miffy hanging out with Izzy, the 1996 Olympics mascot before? Talk about a missed opportunity.
Well, that's it for the AWA 2018 comics... and probably it for AWA in general around here for a while. Maybe when I'm rich and famous enough to just book a room for myself and fly down in my own private helicopter I can add it back to the schedule, but until then, who knows? In the mean time, the next Patreon update will be MAGFest 2019! ...and I really ought to get some more of the public pages for that finished, shouldn't I?
