Yes, then first "Atlanta landmark" I thought of when I started drawing these was a fast food restaurant. Look, you gotta remember that Atlanta honestly doesn't have THAT many big old visually impressive historical sites, thanks to one General Sherman... oh, who am I kidding. If I tried to do this same set of comics about Washington DC, I'd totally think of that one Burger King with all the movie memorabilia before any of the iconic national monuments. That's just how I roll.
By the way, though, how long as The Big Chicken had that sign? It wasn't there last time I actually visited the thing, but all the recent reference photos I found had that extra "Big Chicken" sign out front. It just seems ridiculous that you'd need sign to advertise your giant chicken-shaped building when the whole point of BEING a giant chicken-shaped building in the first place was to be its own advertising.
