I'd hoped to have some kind of big crazy climax for One Week Friends, especially after all the delays, but with all the OTHER things not getting done and getting delayed, I really needed to get SOMETHING out and start moving forward.
But hey, resolving One Week Friends this means that My Hero Academia is now added to the queue, so that's something to look forward to in the future. And speaking of the future (well, the old future, the far-off distant year of 1990), the next anime will be Giant Gorg. My prayers for old school mecha have been answered!
...buuuuuut not before the rest of Conventional Wisdom's regularly scheduled (HA!) programming happens. I still owe Patreon an extra set of Animazement comics, to say nothing of the big, ten year milestone that is Otakon 2018. So look more more anime comics to come once those are out of the way... which hopefully won't take as long as things have already taken.

Awww, thanks! That's always one of the most fun challenges in doing comics like these: trying to nail down which essential details will make characters recognizable even as I draw them in totally unrecognizable styles. It's very educational!

2018-08-02 16:40:07 +0000 UTCI think this is my favorite comic of this set. For one, it amuses me that you use a surprisingly dark joke to make one of the usual 'weekly' anime comic jokes. Also, I keep giggling at the fact that you've managed to capture the spirit of Kaori's hair… on a face very much in your style. It's an interesting combo.
