And anyway (for the benefit of those who HAVEN'T committed my entire life's chronology to memory) , I lived in DC more than two elections ago. People weren't even angry about the same things back then. Which is kind of my point.
And if you think that's still a little too touchy, consider that this page could EASILY taken the form of an American Christian taking offense at the secular Japanese mockery of non-traditional religions. I PROMISE that would have been even worse.
...and yeah, I know. I said we'd be in the middle of One Week Friends by now. Sorry. The worst thing? This page was in the can WEEKS ago, but I sat on it because I didn't want to interrupt the flow of the Far Out There comics. THAT sure worked out well, didn't it?
