Holy CRAP has this one been hanging over my head for a long time. I went and tried to specifically word the madlib so that it'd be extra simple and easy to draw so that it'd get done more quickly... only for Seros Senric's submission to be so fascinating that I ended up writing the longest (non-Jenna-related) Patreon comic yet! And that Submission was:

Pattie and Mooney are stuck in a room, empty except for a zither. They have an argument about detective fiction

Yup. Anyone who's read both The Killer Station of Deadly Doom and Pattie's revised backstory knows this is a VERY interesting idea for character interaction... so much so that I'm actually breaking one of the foundational madlib rules for this one... well, ANOTHER rule, after the one about these not being too long. You know how I said nothing in these comics would be treated as canon in the main Far Out There comic? Yeah, screw that; I'm making this real. Yup, at some point between The Killer Station of Deadly Doom and "present day", all the stuff you're about to read actually for real happened.

...but it'll take a little while for you to read it all. The PLAN was to finish editing these at the same time as I was working on the Christmas pages, then post the whole thing in one blast. Of course, you know how good I am with deadline-related plans. I mean, they're all DRAWN, but not all post-able. Thus, I'll be dropping the pages two-or-three at a time over the course of the rest of this week. Not the grand Christmas present I was hoping to give ya'll, but hey,m at least I'm finally getting these things OUT, right?
