Added 2017-12-04 04:32:51 +0000 UTCSeriously, I have GOT to start making it up to you guys for how crappy this year as been, update-wise. Really, I SHOULD have done something like this immediately after the Anohana comics dragged out so long... but there kind of wasn't a second season of that show to tack on as well ("Oh no, she reincarnated and died AGAIN!") . But seeing as how the only reason I tacked on that whole "I'm only doing the first season" disclaimer was because the request was made waaaaaaay back when season two wasn't even OUT yet, there's really no reason not to cover the other ten episodes as a free bonus. Surprise!
HOWEVER, for those of you patiently waiting for One Week Friends to start, fear not. See, the OTHER reason I'm going ahead and doing the rest of Konosuba is, well, it's still not gonna add THAT much. I've already watched through the whole thing AND made all my notes, and even with a whole second season to pick from, there's still only gonna be around three more pages. MAYBE four, if I have some kind of miraculous breakthrough on this one half-baked idea. The gist of it, though, is we'll still be starting One Week Friends before 2017 is over. Promise!
In fact, to expedite that process, the next Konosuba page will be up later this week! ...because as you've no doubt noticed, I don't really like resorting to pages that only barely even reference the show they're supposed to be about.

2017-12-08 02:00:17 +0000 UTCYeah, I haven't watch the movie, specifically because I figured it would mostly be recap stuff & I wouldn't be able to get much material from it. I BRIEFLY toyed with covering at least a little of the live action show but quickly gave that up for the same reason... and, you know, this is called "weekly ANIME comics" so it kind of needed to be ANIMATED.

Though your comments make me wonder if you know there's an Anohana movie… I wouldn't suggest watching it until your memories of the show fade a bit though. I watched it right after, and although I liked it a lot, it felt like it was half flashback. A few of the flashbacks were new, and actually about how the six got together as kids. The rest are mainly because they didn't use any hinky plot devices to have Menma come back, which I definitely approve of.
