Conventional Wisdom: KonoSuba - page 2
Added 2017-10-25 01:50:21 +0000 UTCI hate doing "comics about how I'm not getting comics done" like this. It gives me bad flashbacks of those old Xanga blogs where you'd see a whole page of "Sorry I haven't been posting more" entries.
Buuuuuut, yeah, I couldn't pretend this didn't happen. I mean, I gave prior warning that the "weekly" part of "Weekly Anime Comics" was going to be vestigial for a while, but MAN I didn't think it'd take this long for another page to squeak out. If there's any good news, though, it's that AWA was my last con for the year, so that'll be one less distraction to worry about for a few months (and, as I've mentioned before, those comics would be DONE already if the whole computer meltdown thing hadn't thrown off my momentum). I mean, yeah, there's still a LOT of Far Out There stuff I have to do before the year's up, but if history has shown us anything, it's that I get the most work one one thing done when I'm supposed to be doing something else entirely. So expect a sudden, irrational surge of Conventional Wisdom material RIGHT when I most need to be focusing on Far Out There stuff.
Oh, and random factoid: this page was actually written with the mascots dressed up as characters from the show, since I thought it'd be easier to write something like this in their voices... buuuuut then I worried that the whole "comic about no comics" factor would only be worse if we didn't "really" see any actual characters from the show, so I changed it without altering the dialog. That probably wasn't a good idea, but I guess it's too late now.
