The thought just now occurs to me that Gilb being able to determine the identities of four separate children from the evidence on one single spitball raises several weird, icky questions. Questions which will NEVER be addressed in this comic.
Also, I’m already breaking my rule about not doing lots of atmospheric screentones and the like. Crap.

2016-12-26 07:16:39 +0000 UTCWhen I read the previous page I'd assumed the lump he was scanning was actually made up of several spitballs, having gathered the others from... somewhere... between pages. Possibly explanations for one range from incredibly creepy to just plain weird. Luckily our resident alien probably doesn't know enough about our species to consider it.
