Conventional Wisdom: Hoshicon 2016 - page 1
Added 2016-08-04 15:24:37 +0000 UTCI've mentioned elsewhere that I really like any excuse to just ditch the express way and take the scenic route, and MAN did I do a lot of that for Hoshicon. There was a lot of traffic and construction between me and Charlotte, and I'd already had enough of traffic as it was, so I took the first alternate route I could find. Admittedly, said alternate route ended up adding a lot more time than just sitting in the traffic ever would have, but it was SOOOOOOO worth it. Rather than another hour of billboards and the back of some big rig, I ended up taking a surprise trip straight through a national forest under prime road trip conditions. It was fantastic, well worth the extra whatever I added to the trip in the process.
