As I've mentioned on numerous occasions, I miss very little about living in Washington DC. But man, it's a great place to have the thought "I feel like taking a walk". And I didn't even make it down to any of the "historic" places, I'm just talking about wandering around the neighborhoods up north. Honestly, most of the good memories I have of DC are just from taking walks down random streets to see where I'd end up... I had VERY little to do in those days.
Also, does anyone else's body do this whole delayed-exhaustion thing? I can power through all kinds of pain as long as I'm doing something, but the SECOND I stop, that's it, I'm done. Inertia, sucka.
