2024-12-29 04:30:13 +0000 UTCHi. Just to clarify, I’m not trying to imply that Kei should focus just on Mao and forget about all the other girls. Far from that, this is a harem manga, and Kei will likely not commit to any one character until the very end. I’m fine with that. (I do root for Mao though, but that’s just my personal preference :P) However, I do think that whatever happens after this arc should perspire in his interactions with Mao from now on, the same way that whatever happens with other characters in subsequent arcs should perspire in their future interactions as well, and all characters should react to the advances of others toward Kei. In other words, what I am asking for is narrative continuity, instead of separate, independent arcs that feel like one-shots with no consistency whatsoever. I hope this makes it more clear.

They've been mostly ignored and Kei should have a limit with him being abused! There has to be a training arc so Kei can put Mao and the bullies in their place!

And I am sure that many of your followers think the same as me. It’s your strong point, and the build-up of the story make the spicy scenes all the more satisfying. Storytelling is what gives soul to your work. Don’t give up what makes you special! We are here for you, because we want to see where the story is going and how the characters’ relationship evolve. That been said, for any story to be effective, there must be consequences. So I hope this season with Mao helps the relationship between her and the main character advance, instead of being forgotten in the next season as if nothing happened.
