Late Easter - Devlog #010

Happy Easter I know I am day late so I am sorry I got lazy yesterday and didn't get around to it. Now to the devlog:

V0.13

As I said before Blake will be the focus of V0.12 I will soon make a clothes poll for her, but what I want to talk is about the (as I call it) rest version that comes after. Right now I am considering making a poll about what to do in it, last week I was reminded of something that has been planned for a will and that I could start working on and that is new variations of previous events.

In most trainers (Or at least the best ones) when you replay an event after progression has been made the event changes and I had always planned on doing that but I was thinking of it as something to do after all main girls were done. The reason was that I wanted the event to changes after at least level 3 of the girl and after V0.12 all main girls will have level 3 available so maybe I can do it now instead of working on a side girl. Still there will be a poll with more information in the near future before V0.12 comes out.

Interactive...?

So it has come to my attention that lately scenes have not been very interactive and with out a doubt that is true, I did not invent the concept of interactive scenes I liked it and tried to imitate them after playing the Doukyuusei games. Now there are 3 reason as to why scenes have been less interactive:

1. My own lack of imagination. As most will know I am not a fountain of creativity I try to be creative but I mostly get random sparks of inspiration here and there and work them till I can't no more. As such I sometimes notice places where I could add more interaction but I am too late to add them as most if not all the work has been done or I just never see the opportunities that others do to add more buttons.

2. The background doesn't help. So in the example of Doukyuusei the game takes you to a lot of places but Huntress Trainer's scenes happen (At least for now) always inside the same office so I don't have many chances to use the background for new interactions (I do have some plans for new backgrounds) This is again my fault and something I intend to work on.

3. Animations can't be interactive. I won't get much into the technical stuff but to put it simply I can't add interactive stuff to a character that is in an animation the best I can do are things like the next arrow and the pov button, I think I can expand on that but my knowledge is limited so I am not entirely sure (Let me cook a few things).

Glad to see that you’re going to go through older events and add variations. Was planning on suggesting it but good to see it was already planned for
