Two factions for hire become entangled in a struggle against one another and for survival as a seemingly standard contract for each of them turns sour as they realise they are pitted against each other in a seemingly hopeless situation. The soldiers of the Golden Griffins and Hunters of the World Explorer’s & Hunter’s League (WEHL) must decide if they are to unite or continue to squabble over coin to see their contract's completion.

- World Explorer’s & Hunter’s League (WEHL) - An elite organisation dedicated to exploration of the uncharted: from the depths of Tharador’s underdark to wild wilderness and beyond the seas. So too does it possess great hunters who prey against the greatest beasts and abominations Tharador has to offer, fueling further research in the organisation. Includes Cedric of Wildern, Rylena, Tyriana, Draak, Krimmdar
- Golden Griffins - One of the most well renowned and controversial mercenary companies of Tharador. Currently a primary force of the Human Coalition in the Liturium War after betraying their original High Elven employers. As the ceasefire drags on, more menial tasks are assigned to their soldiers in taking up freelance work. Includes Brumhilda, Aaron Drafthold, Tomas Lumens, Torrent and Agga.

October’s Campaign - Two Sides of One Coin sees a return to form of our first campaign, giving players (or the DM) the option of starting with a specific faction as they compete against the other in a bid to succeed in their quest. Even PvP can be encouraged in this campaign if people decide to start opposing factions. Having diverse choices for the campaign start affects the play of the story, with enemies being allies and outcomes playing out to the strengths and weaknesses of each faction’s members.
