What new features and functionality would you like to see on Hashtag Baseball and Hashtag Football?
Added 2024-04-10 21:40:14 +0000 UTCHey all - this is usually the time of the year where I lock into development mode and start building out new features for the websites. My goal is to have all 4 websites up to the standard of Hashtag Basketball (in their own unique ways).
My next 2 months will focus on Hashtag Baseball and Hashtag Football, and I'd love to hear your suggestions on what you'd like to see added to these two websites.
On my to-do list so far for Hashtag Baseball is:
Adding a Matchup Planner for points leagues
Adding Smash Mode
Updating the premium tools UI

While testing Match Planner, I encountered some other issues: The Definitions for NA Players display the same icon as DTD Players. Could we add a separate icon for NA PLAYERS? Pitchers with IL15 status are not displaying the INJ icon properly. Some players are not correctly listed in the player roster, ex: Christian Scott is listed under BATTERS. Is it possible to synchronize the green check mark for scheduled starting dates in YAHOO SP with the check mark in Match Planner?"

2024-05-14 07:25:53 +0000 UTCSorry, I just refreshed the League Data and found it was already synchronized. It's just that the different order caused me not to notice. However, is it normal that when I select the 2024 Regular Season Rankings, it only shows BEFORE data and not AFTER data?

But the issue with the H2H Matchup Planner not syncing with Yahoo still hasn't been resolved, I use this function every week during the Fantasy basketball season, but it hasn't been working properly for Fantasy baseball this season.

And It would be better if you could place various function buttons at the top of the web page like Hashtag Basketball, instead of going back to premium to click on other pages. Also need "Quick Refresh League" option too.

2024-04-14 08:42:57 +0000 UTCHey! Hop into the league settings link on the dashboard, click the edit button, and change the draft status to draft complete. That'll tell the Fantrax API to pull data from your league rather than the draft board. I'll post some quick tips and guides on Monday once a few more features have been added.

2024-04-11 10:51:41 +0000 UTCAnother useful feature would be for players participating in multiple leagues with multiple teams, to be able to "Quick refresh all leagues" and "Refresh all leagues" instead of clicking to each one separately.

2024-04-11 10:26:00 +0000 UTCI would propose a feature that IMO is useful. Here is the use case: You are playing in a H2H default league (daily roster changes) and towards the end of the week you need to find a waiver wire player that can help you in a specific category. You go to premium --> waiver wire and you get the list of available players. Now, to find out who can help you in a specific category it would be useful to be able to sort the players based on the category columns, e.g. to see who from the waiver wire has the best blocks or steals, in ranking/ordered fashion. It would also be interesting to apply this for multiple categories where you can sort for example "I need to see who would statistically help me the most in 3 pointers and steals combined" something along those lines. This could also be applicable to Roto leagues if you want to do some long term changes in the team, find and boost the category(ies) based on the waiver wire available category rankings I think as you already have the category contribution values for each player it would be relatively simple to enable single column sorting in the table, but I am not sure about the multiple category sorting? Hope this makes sense :-)

2024-04-11 10:21:39 +0000 UTCJust noticed the Waiver Machine issue. I'll get that fixed overnight, and adding the quick refresh option for Yahoo leagues will be added before the weekend (one of the advantages of being about to re-use the code from Hashtag Basketball!).
