Thank you, Oshunlust π. It was a one-way relationship between them: Mr. Lee paying the plumber to fix the sink he intentionally breaks every week, and the plumber fixing it while also indulging on his client's sexual advances out of pity. In the original script, they were supposed to have a heated argument - ending with Lee lashing out and throwing the money at the plumber. But I feel like that would be too terrible. Lee is just lonely, not a bad person. I changed the script to be more vague because the last part seems a bit too cheesy. But the more I watch it, the more I find that I was unable to communicate the problem in the story more clearly. Lee is having identity problems which he feels he could only express safely by paying the plumber.
