Plumber and Client Character Design
Added 2021-09-09 15:28:07 +0000 UTCHello everyone, we're gonna have a quick poll for September animation. I made the character designs for my OCs, and I've been a bit experimental about this. I've known for a while that shapes such as triangle, circle, and square can affect the overall feel of a character. I've put the idea into practice and come up with, let's say, exaggerated character designs. The plumber's proportions are patterned from the combination of the shapes square and triangle. His forearm is also exaggerated and his lower limbs are shortened. His design is a bit inspired by popeye. This shape communicates how strong, adamant, and stoic he is.
As for his client, his shapes are mostly triangles, from head to waist. Then further down, I made his legs a bit circular because I want him to be thicc. His overall triangular design gives off how grounded he is, how in control he seems to be.
Anyway, so I've attached their designs here. I urge ya'll to choose 1 item each for the plumber and the client. Help me decide whether I'll draw them on my usual designs or try out something new.
