For my next long project, I'll be doing an original story, and it will be four parts. This is the protagonist (I don't have a name for him yet). I didn't intend to give him an interesting design at first since he was just supposed to be the "lens" through which the viewers will see the story. But changes have been made. He starts off as a young adult with a scrawny build then gains a bulkier build by the last part of the series.
In terms of design, I took inspiration from a bull shark: the large fangs incorporated in the collars of both his outfits, the pointy hair for the shark's fin, the color red (blood) dripping from the collar to his clothing in the first outfit, and so on.
The second design has a much more vibrant feel than the first one with its light bluish colors, symbolizing the end of his character arc.
Besides this, I gave him three scars on the left part of his neck - gills. I feel like it's too much to add another three scars on the right part of his neck so I distributed them to his right arm.
I'm not sure If I'll make future changes to his design but this will do for now.
