Sickness Update ROUND 2!

Hey everyone!

Wanted to give a quick update regarding how things are going on my end as I feel bad leaving you all in the dark.

So it's been quite the rollercoaster recently in terms of my health. I was diagnosed with chronic appendicitis. The pain has been tormenting me for almost 2 months now, making it impossible for me to move, stand or sit at my computer. Unfortunately, as it is not acute, our free health care will not fix it, despite knowing my pain levels. Naturally, it is extremely important this be fixed promptly not only for my own comfort levels but for the progress of the project. I've been put on a course of antibiotics which seem to have finally helped relieve the pain somewhat that I am able to work again! woo! However, it does not fix the issue. I have decided to pay privately to fix this, as I cannot wait for the NHS, which is estimating another 2 months of this pain at least, and do not guarantee they will fix it at all unless it becomes acute, something I'd rather avoid! This will be coming out of my own funding! I will not be using BBU funds for this, I just want to iterate that just in case there was any cause for concern.

I will be making some updates on here and focusing on the demo build for this month now that I am currently feeling stable, but my condition tends to be unpredictable. I have periods of calm and periods of pain, so I want to thank you all for being patient with me whilst I fix this! This is certainly a situation I was not expecting haha I promise to work extra hard to catch up. The rest of the team are doing extremely well, I just haven't had the energy to report on it (which I will do right now!)
