[Boss Concept] Mr Barnaby Owl
Added 2020-07-05 14:05:40 +0000 UTCFinally, a new boss appears! It took a while to find the right design, we went through many many different designs and iterations, unlike Fantoccio and Dutch.
Barnaby is able to swap between and control dimensions, he is also deceased/undead. Unable to remember who he was in a past life, Barnaby spends his days hosting ghostly parties where the fun never ends. His chapter is called "Grim Grinning Goats"
Barnaby's face is a liquid and often breaks the laws of physics and reality. His level will explore non-euclidean spaces.
Barnaby is fun-loving, but also self-interested, with no major friends or family to speak of. Despite not remembering who he once was, Billie can uncover who he used to be throughout the level.
I hope you love our wacky owl as much as we do! The next step is to find his colour palette, we've experimented a bit but so far nothing has stuck, but I'm sure he'll find them soon enough. I'll do a full break down on his different iterations soon, but for now, enjoy his first picture
