[Level Concept Art] - Fantos Stage

Here's some concept art for Fantoccios stage, a character we want to focus on before the Kickstarter. With every level we wanted to try something new and innovate, give each level its own personality. For this post I want to share the concept around Fantoccios level, along with some art and puzzle ideas, this will also be the first time we use the spoiler tag! For those who want to enjoy the game spoiler free:

Fantoccios level will take place mainly in one small area, the main stage. There will also be optional locations, like the cat walks, backstage, and the audience/ticket areas. You can decorate the stage freely, different props can be found throughout the level. There are themes to each set of props, westerns, pirate, castle etc. Props can be used to platform to new areas and unlock new secrets. Use cloudy weather props to jump up to the cat walks or perhaps use a boat prop and flood the stage to float there.

Props can also work together, as show above, using a sun with a rain prop will create a rainbow prop.

You can also change character outfits and create your own scripts by improvising with Fantoccio via a dialogue tree. Fantoccios dialogue will change dependent on the outfit he is currently wearing. You can decide what outfit he wears and what persona he takes on.
