KUPO TALKS (Monthly Packs, tweaks, goals, etc…)

Hi hi! First of all would like to say that January Monthly Packs will go out on February the 5th like last time. As always would like to remind everyone that even if you decide to delete your pledge and not stick around for February, I will of course still send it to you!

Also if you haven't grabbed December's Pack now its the time! I'll delete it to make space for the new one! If you were a patron back in December, check your messages and you should find the link I sent you! If you can't find it don't hesitate to tell me.

Ok so there are some things and stuff I would like to talk about :)

TL;DR

◆ From now on Sidequest and Picture of the Month voting will be done earlier each month.

◆ I haven’t forgotten about the comic, but it’s gonna be a while until it comes back! months!

◆ Main characters of the comic (Fara, Jude, Ellie, Nico and Rowan) will be added to the pool of characters for the sidequests.

◆ I love doing Adoptables, they’re helping me a lot and my intention is to do most fantasy races. Please if you don’t like this type of content feel free to ignore it! and don’t feel like you need to get one at all!

◆ After two years, Commission Prices will be raised. Current commissioners on the Wait List will not be affected. Will post the prices on a later date.

◆ For the $1 dollar tier I would like to do more drawings with my OCs. something nice but not too elaborate so I have time to make a lot.

◆ For the $2 tier I would like to add anatomy, gesture and pose studies. I’ll post a poll and see if peeps would be interested.

◆ Problems getting rewards for the $10 tier because patrons won’t respond to my messages so I’ll try again with another format and if that doesn’t work I’ll start sending emails! 

◆ Would like to Stream more but my internet connection is not always stable.

◆ Would like to make some aesthetic changes for the tiers and change the names again since I don’t particularly like them as they are!

LITTLE  TWEAKS

From now on even if I don't  have finished past month's picture of the month and/or Sidequests I'm gonna start with the voting and suggesting part on the first or second of each month, so I don't keep dragging it for too long!

COMIC

I have not forgotten about my comic!

I realized after the other day I mentioned the comic to a patron and they told me “what comic?” that it’s been a while since I updated it! It just feels like yesterday for me! 

I did want to take a month or two break from it but I didn’t intend to let it be on hiatus for this long.

However I’m still in this Patreon limbo in which I don’t earn enough to sustain myself (needing to take commissions and doing adoptables) and these past few months have hit hard financially so I had to switch focus on stuff that could bring me direct income (again, Commissions and Adoptables).

I’m sorry for taking this long but I hope you guys understand why :)

So when can we expect the comic to return, Kupo?

Well I won’t say exactly when because I honestly don’t know; I know it’s gonna be at least -at least- two months.

-Comic Goals:

◆Doing proper concept art of important characters for this comic.

◆Finally make a website for the comic for proper reading  

◆Make Covers for the chapters 1 and 2!

◆Having at least half of the comic pages done before posting it.

◆Make so that patrons are 4 pages ahead from the public (instead of just one)

SIDEQUESTS

I'm gonna add the main characters of the comic to the Sidequest character pool. At least until I start with the comic again! Here are their profile pics!

My reasoning behind not having them on the first place was because being the main characters of the comic, they have enough of a spotlight as it is but since the comic is not updating right now… well… they deserve some love too!

ADOPTABLES

You may have noticed that I've been doing a lot of adoptables! and I know some of you are not interested in this type of content but I hope you at least are not bothered by it! Please feel free to ignore them and definitely don't feel pressured to buy any! 

Adoptables have been helping me A LOT, and the support everyone has been giving through them is incredible, I’m really thankful for it <3

My goal with adoptables is that as long as they keep selling I would like to make my way through most known/interesting fantasy races. And I would like to offer them every other month or even more spaced out but I’m afraid I’m gonna have to offer them for February and March too. I realize that means I’ve been offering adoptables for 4 months straight (December and January too) I hope you can bear with me and the adoptables for a little while.

The price each adopt will be 55€ for each, unless a batch has like crazy details or a lot of extra work like wings or something like that. But for the foreseeable future 55 will be the standard. Also very important thing I need to remind myself; don’t announce them until I’ve done most of them.

Future adopts (Not necessarily in this order):

◆ Dragonfolk (dragonborn (2 bases) and kobold (2bases too)

◆ Centaurs (centaurs, deertaurs and… machotaurs)

◆ Firbolgs (2 bases probably; thick and lean)

◆ Minotaurs (2 bases, I think)

◆ A second design for fiendish devils and maybe a couple more random designs so I can complete the alphabet with them lol)

COMMISSION PRICES

After two years, commission prices will be raised when I open them again.

All commissioners/Commission in my wait list who I haven't sent invoices yet won't be affected by this of course!

I’ll be informing on the new prices soon.

1$ TIER ADDITIONS

I would like to make clean sketches featuring  my characters; something that doesn't require a lot of polish but it's still nice to look at, like this example:

$2 TIER ADDITIONS

I think that if you guys are interested, I'm gonna start posting studies and gesture drawings once or twice a month; I will definitely make a poll but I think of this tier as the "making of" tier and I also think it would be nice.

$10 TIER BLUES

I'm having trouble getting patrons their rewards on this tier as most of them don't write back when I send them messages!

I know, I know most people sell their packs on other site but guys… I have to research about taxes for that and I just got in a comfortable position regarding tax stuff and that would be a whole new ordeal I would rather not go through right now -w-

So for the moment this tier will stay as it is.

I'm gonna try again and if it doesn't work probably gonna send emails! 

STREAMS

I would like to stream more! especially $1 tier stuff and early comic pages process.

But the problem is that my connection is not stable enough; we’ll see how it goes!

Also right now I don’t think I’ll be able to host private streams (which is why I removed them a long time ago from the rewards I offer) because paying $15 per month just for that it’s a little bit pricey. Maybe if I go full on streaming mode again I’ll consider it, though 

GENERAL AESTHETIC CHANGES

I would like to change the tier names and their art. I know I changed them not so long ago but I’m not 100% happy with them!
