For our Patrons atthe gold level or higher, we've got a special treat coming in the next few days. A "you-print" board game, called Escape the Cage. This is a fun, wacky, budget dungeon crawl, card and miniature game you are going to love.
This is a game we have been developing for years, and never released. But we'll be giving it to our Patreon patrons! (https://www.patreon.com/abneypark)
Basically, you'll print the cards on your home printer, (or take the files to a copy shop) and print this yourself. Cut the cards out, shuffle them, grab a couple of your miniatures (or Abney Park miniatures), and you are all set!
The game is played in a randomly created labyrth, where players battle guards, lunatic prisoners, and each other, to Escape The Change Cage. You've got weapons, equipment, and some pretty terrible kung-fu with which to beat your combatants. That, plus a pretty cool pick pocketing system, and you are all set to battle, and annoying each other until one of you "Escapes the Cage"!
