Added 2022-05-13 06:26:07 +0000 UTCSpeedloader first met Gunsmoke at a neighborhood BBQ. They did not get along and it was clear they were too unalike to be friends. A week later the two of them found themselves bumping into each other at the range. Gunsmoke shooting her first and favorite gun, a .357 Colt Python. It was a gift from her father, a retired County Sheriff.
Speedloader in the adjacent booth was firing his first and favorite gun as well. A .357 Smith and Wesson model 27 short barrel police service revolver. Coincidentally it was a gift from his father. A Probation Department Officer in Philadelphia.
They got to chatting, comparing ammunition, trying each others out, trying each others pistols out, comparing other firearms they had with them, and before they knew it they had spent the entire day enjoying each others company. Speedloader would invite her to join him in a competition shoot the following weekend which would turn in to date #1. And the rest is history
