Hello all. Here is the next part in the sequence. Looks like Cassie is finally starting to soften up.

“No Sarah, I don’t need help trying on underwear. It’s just underwear.”
Cassie stood in her bedroom, clad only in a bra and panties, with several other plain looking undergarments and other clothes strewn about on her bed. They were all very generic and the labels had been removed. Cassie didn’t think of it as anything sinister or mischievous, she just assumed that was what stores in town did.
The reason for all of these new items being in her apartment was simple; she had been doing her laundry and was about to throw items in the dryer when she got a call from what she thought was a gym she had applied to in Austin. She left the laundry room and turned down her hallway to answer it. However, it turned out to just be a spam and made the short walk back to the washing machine. When she arrived, she saw a small rhino dumping what appeared to be a bottle of ketchup into the machine. Before she could stop him, the plastic bottle fell into the machine and exploded, spraying the liquid over almost all of her clothes.
She screamed and was about to berate the boy when his mom ran in. The woman apologized profusely, stating she had tried to keep an eye on her son and he just got away from him. Cassie told her what had happened and the woman, a single mom, Sarah Gala, offered to make it up to her. She at first offered to pay her back for all the items, but then decided that she would just replace them instead since she worked at the town’s “Clothes Hut”.
Cassie balked at this and wanted the cash, but the woman told her that not only would she replace all of Cassie’s clothes, but she would also do her laundry from now on, just to really do enough to make the cash strapped rabbit feel better. Seeing this as a more beneficial situation, Cassie agreed.
Now, three hours later, Cassie was trying on all of the items, just to let Sarah know her sizes for future references. They were a little snug, making Cassie believe the rhino had purchased the wrong size, even after she had given her all of her stats. Sarah had done as Cassie asked, though the rabbit was not aware of this. Instead, the problem was that Cassie had put on weight, and it wasn’t what she would have hoped for. It was fat, not muscle.
Since coming to this small town 12 weeks ago, Cassie had been somewhat lazy. She was depressed, and even though she would never admit this to herself, it had made her workouts less than optimal and more infrequent than at any point in her adult life. She would half ass with her push up and sit up attempts at the park, and would only run 2 miles instead of her usual 8. That in and of itself might have made her just lose muscle tone, but the problem had exacerbated into other areas.
For one, Cassie still consumed the same number of calories she always had. This would have been fine if she was in her old routine, but now, doing less physical activity meant burning off less calories. This also could have been ok if things were pure proteins like before, but that was not the case either. She had resorted to using the “healthy” products from the grocery store, purchasing their protein bars, protein shakes, and healthy meals, that while heavy in protein, were also heavy in sugars and carbs. It was a perfect storm that was affecting her figure.
That was also enhanced by her starting to eat the foods that were served at the restaurant. She wasn’t wolfing down pastries and desserts but she was consuming more carbs than ever before. A dish of pasta, a sandwich, some pancakes with her eggs, all of it was becoming a daily thing. It seemed that the combination of boredom and all that food was finally getting to her.
It was not a lot, probably only 15 pounds, but on her small frame it began to cover up her old muscle tone. Less muscle bulged out of her shirt sleeves and her abs were not as flat as before. Worse, because she was a rabbit, her power thighs had started to get softer and her hips wider as she put on the weight. It wasn’t that noticeable, at least not yet, but if this kept up it wouldn’t be too long before the items Sarah had purchased for her were unwearable.
Unbeknownst to her, the rhino had been peaking into the bedroom from the slightly ajar door. She watched the rabbits rear jiggle ever so slightly and how her abdomen was no longer flat when she stood up, only flattening when she arched her back slightly. These weren’t things most people would take notice of unless they were looking for it, which Sarah was.
She smiled to herself before pulling out her phone and texting her friend of 17 years, Kay Frolick, to inform her that everything was going according to plan and that they were all doing a good job. Kay just thanked her for her hard work and told her she’d pay her back for the items that were purchased, but that to wait until everything was done to send a final bill. Sarah agreed.
They both knew that this would not be the last time Sarah would be purchasing clothing for the oblivious rabbit.
