Hey everyone. Here is the next part in the sequence.
Hope you all enjoy it.

“Welcome to Creede Hometown Buffet, the place where the pies are warm and the food is always fresh. Yeah. The seating is open so sit wherever you want”, Cassie said with a forced smirk on her face.
The two does just looked at her awkwardly and slowly waddled back to the dining room and took a seat by the bathrooms. They didn’t even thank Cassie as they walked past her.
“Ugh, what a surprise, two more pigs waddling in to stuff their maws. So shocking!”
The rabbit twirled her pen that was supposed to tally how many people had arrived, but the notebook was always empty when she worked. Annette, her boss, a 44 year old curvaceous giraffe widow, who probably had more money than anyone else in town, had asked her to keep tabs on things, but did not seem to get too annoyed when it wasn’t done. She did however tell Cassie she had to smile and recite the restaurants tag line to all who entered. It was about the only real work the rabbit did.
She had been there a month and hated this job more than anything in the world. When she had first showed up, she had expected it to be something more akin to a waitress, though if she really thought about it, she should have realized that a waitress wasn’t needed at a buffet. No, this job was for a full-time hostess to greet all the customers when they walked in, and show them to their tables. Cassie of course rarely did that. She did not want to socialize with the staff, let alone the customers. Worse, the weather was actually nice since it was June, so she had to look out the window and see the sunshine down on the other residents of the town. But, since she wasn’t doing any sort of athletic training, she couldn’t stay outside and enjoy the weather. She was stuck in the restaurant, not able to get in a good workout. To her, this was hell.
She turned back to the door and saw no one else was coming. She took a sip of her protein shake, trying to get as much protein in while she stayed on her feet. It was still the stuff from the supermarket, so it wasn’t the best. Still, the taste was growing on her slightly, even if it wasn’t as good as the stuff from the “Growth Products” health food site. She took another heavy sip and glanced at the clock, seeing that it was only 3pm. That meant there was still the dinner rush to come, when all the obese furs would come in to gorge themselves.
Cassie groaned. She usually worked the afternoon-closing shift, meaning she got there anytime between 10 and 3. This played with her typical workout schedule, meaning she wasn’t getting as many workouts in as she used to. It wasn’t a lot, not enough to put on weight or really lose muscle tone, but if it kept up, Cassie definitely would find her clothes getting snug, and NOT because she had gained muscle mass. Those thoughts weren’t on her mind, as the door chime rang as a short gator walked in, carrying his laptop bag. Cassie sighed.
“Welcome to the Creede Hometown Buffet” she droned.
