Next part. Hope you're enjoying it.

Her phone played the Talkie-Talkie video of the woman falling on her face after trying to jump over her own tail, slowing down and putting extra emphasis on her face.

“Ha-ha, chomp. Dumb lizard. Why, chomp, did you think, urp, you could jump over your own tail? You’re, urp, not, chomp, that athletic!”

Gina laughed some more as she reached for another donut, bits of the one in her mouth getting on her already heavily stained uniform shirt. She simply ignored the stains and bit into her next donut, which was part of the third dozen she was working on before lunch.

If you looked at the seasoned security guard, you’d be hard pressed to find any semblance of the former athletic trainer who had signed up many moons ago. The dedicated doe who had wanted to open up her own gym one day had become a slovenly, obese, lethargic, lazy, and gluttonous doe who wanted to do nothing more than sit on her ever growing rear and stuff herself silly.

It had been a gradual change, one that had seen Gina go from mocking her co-workers gluttony, to being in denial about her own eating habits, to then trying to briefly cut back on her eating, to eventually letting herself enjoy eating without really thinking of the consequences. It was much easier (and more rewarding) to just eat to her hearts content without wondering what those calories would do to her frame.

As a result, she had passed the 500 pound mark and showed no sign of slowing down. She was now just one of the many obese security guards at the mall, though not one of the biggest. That was reserved for a few others who rarely ever had to get up, usually sitting in the front of the mall at the information desk or being stuck on static duty in the back just watching the monitors. Those were Gina’s favorite shifts, when she could just plop her elephantine rear down on a chair, stuff herself for four hours non-stop, make her lunch rounds, and then snack again for 6 more hours before she could go home and order takeout before going to sleep on her sagging couch. It was such a simple routine but one she had grown accustomed to loving.

Today was not one of those days however, Gina knew that once lunch ended she’d be stuck making a round or two around the mall, one which she was dreading. Her legs always ached after these days and she was covered in enough sweat to fill the fountain in the center of the mall. She only hoped that maybe her boss would forget to call her name out.

“Gina? Gina? After Ross comes back from break you go on yours. Then report back before starting your patrol of the upper levels.”

She heard the PA voice and whined a bit, glancing over at the double doors to see if the 700 pound Ross was coming closer. She heard his panting and saw the massive goat enter, his gut bouncing before him.

“He-Hey, Gina. You’re, whew, up. If you go up to the second floor, they, pant, just put in a new diner. The food is supposed to be amazing. I went to the buffet instead since I didn’t want to take the stairs. See, gasp, see ya.”

He slowly made his way to one of the other chairs in the room and collapsed on it, the buttons on his shirt straining against his sagging paunch. Gina shook her head as she watched him settle down, but her mind quickly went to something the goat said.

“New diner? I have to go up to the second floor anyway, maybe I’ll check it out instead of hitting up the food court. Hopefully the food is good, I’m hungry.”
