The Future of Animation Commissions
Added 2023-03-21 23:46:56 +0000 UTCProbably the sleep deprivation getting to me more than anything, but a bit ago I did say I wanted to shift my focus more towards animation, and away form making models every month. I've made a lot less models, but I've also not animated as much as I would like.
I like making models, but that's not my main goalf for 3D, as cool as it is. I'm generally nostalgia driven, massively R34-oriented and have just enough of an ego that I don't want to use other people's models.
So I want to make all my Assets public, and then open animation comms so I can avoid the pitfalls of needing to think. Since I try to make stuff unique, without treading the same ground over and over, rendering the same stuff again and again with different characters. And that gets tricky. There are only so many positions and camera angles I can think of to show the stuff I want.
I don't want to to stop making models, Hippogriff is still in developement since I've been lazy with him lately, but I don't really have a drive to make many models at the moment. No character is speaking to me lately like the Sang and Skirm, or Jake and DD, or Mordecai and Rigby, or Rocket and his fun outfits.
I'm not gonna stop making NSFW (I'm too easily enticed by it), but damn if it isn't hard enough to come up with things to post every 3 days. Sometimes I just get sucked into making environments. The round room is easily my favourite considering how much I've been using it.

Long post, but basically I'm reiterating my goal of doing more animation, and doing animation commissions to offset my lack of ideas for animations.
