Rocket Work (And his Future Release)
Added 2022-10-31 17:42:38 +0000 UTCJumpscare! Did I get ya? Probably not, but I do have some Frightful news on the Rocket development.
While Frightful, it is also good, because I got the Hair Curves (The new Hair System in Blender 3.3 that made me want to make Rocket) to deform with the Rig properly. But now I have a ton of settings to figure out and tweak and I'm 100% certain I won't be able to get it done before midnight tonight. Epiphanies are great, and ill timed.
So He's not gonna be released this month (October, in case you're coming to this in November), so I'm pushing my work on him into November as well as his release.
So it's not bad news per say, and I have tried to refrain from setting up expectiations of an October release, but the past models being released the same month they were started is undeniably the norm, and I expected it to be the same this time around. But the realization of GeoHair Rigging (A thing I tried to do at the start, but failed to), has pushed things a bit off balance.
All that really means is by the end of it, the product will be even better than it currently is. There are other things I want to fix, but the fur (The big thing) is the most important right now.
Happy Halloween! Be sure to buy lots of Candy on November 1st! A few years ago I spent over $300 on the stuff and it was disgustuing how much Candy was in my room. Couldn't give away enough of it.
