Updating the Aliens (Again)
Added 2022-09-09 04:51:39 +0000 UTCThe rigs on the Aliens, and the aliens themselves are getting another face lift, this time it might be their final form, bar a few tweaks for glitches I or others find.
What is being added:
- FK/IK Switching for Arms
- Easy Ripped Suit Control
- Fixed Wrist Roll When Rotating the Hands
- Better Weights on the Techsuits
- Thicker Feathers on the Skirm
- Better eye and Face Weights on Skirm
- Additional Control points for Finger IKs
- Less Sticks, More Unique Bone Shapes
- Double Knees for Both Rigs
- More things I Think of Later
There are a few big changes, namely the Driver based stuff (FK/IK and Suit rip switches) but I like the feathers a lot more, and the fact the wrists don't shrink like making a balloon animal when rotated is very important.
A lot are aesthetic, as well. The poles are curved arrows and the Root also has arrows. Head Bone is a semi Circle and hand controls went from box to Rounded Square. I think the rigs look nice. Way busier and it might not be the most relaxing rig to look at, I hope it provides ease of use for any who wish to use them.
I'll update the Rigs in the Asset Library for the Crew in the coming days, and I'll do the usual post about it so you know. But until then I have some more rigging to work on and figure out.
