Just wanted to say that as an East Coaster who LOVES the VACC theater, these calendar shows paired with the movies is a really great “home” version. Much appreciated! Also, Happy birthday, Matt!!

Loved the joker 2 cartoon and where it was going but left feeling a bit like a comic book nerd wanting it to be more Dc….but that’s on me.Second viewing I’m more open to it as movie.I ate a couple of muscle relaxers and usually if I make it through that without falling asleep they did there job…….They kind of did.I would say this if anything.make sure your in a mood to judge a movie if your going to write it down on paper(or comment)It did capture my mind and it followed at a decent paced. So not garbage to me.Maybe I’m wrong but it’s watchable.

Havent seen any of these but I did watch Joker 2 which is now streaming on Max. The trial of the murder of the United Healthcare CEO will give Joker 2 a second life. As of this comment, we do not know how society will react to the shooter’s guilty verdict, but looking at recent events, it’s fair to compare those rooting for Luigi on social media to the citizens of Gotham cheering for Arthur.

Roger cited Todd Hayne's Far from Heaven as a film influenced by the works of Douglas Sirk. My mind immediately goes to Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, which is a kind of a quasi-remake of All That Heaven Allows
