I did a full on spit take when I heard Quentin say he'd seen and really dug Pig. I'm really proud of the film, and of Michael Sarnoski (the writer/ director). Check out, if you haven't, "A Quiet Place: Day One", the first movie he did after Pig. He did a similar thing there, managing to subvert the whole "day one" scifi genre as well. Quentin’s VHS shrine to season one sounds like a Blockbuster aisle possessed by pure devotion. 2024-11-06 17:49:04 +0000 UTCThe next Video Vault is American Commandos. Actually a pretty decent action film. Suarez shoots action well. Mitchum and Law have a low key charm to them. The first part is a revenge thriller, the second part more of a military actioner. The narrative is very confusing at times. I don’t know that we needed quite so many rape scenes lol.

The movie in question is directed by one of the 3 from episode 12 and shares its title with a movie directed by one of the directors of episode 11.
