Increased the total frames of Destruction Attack significantly.
Added character names and face graphics above the HP bars.
Changed Modeus's hammer counter at the start of the round from 0 to 2.
Implemented preload processing on the VS screen.
Turns out that until now, it wasn’t actually loading anything despite the “Loading” label. Sorry about that.
Zdrada’s round intro animation freezes
The animation frame was set to 1.
Victory animations at the end of the round skip automatically
There was an error in the skip condition, causing it to always skip.
EX Move finisher causes the EX Move activation animation to play at the start of the next round
After fixing the bug above, this no longer occurred for some reason.
A/D gauges are not reset when restarting a game round
Fixed.
Combo counter display remains after finishing with an EX Move
The condition to hide the combo display required the character to be in an idle state, but EX Move finishers sometimes skip this state. Added a forced reset for the combo display at the end of the round.
Camera zoom during a round win at the screen edge reveals background seams
Ideally, the camera movement should be fixed, but due to time constraints, patched the background as a quick fix.
KO sound effect replays multiple times for each hit after KO
The issue occurred because the sound effect replayed when the first frame of the animation was passed. Modified it to only play during KO.
A gauge charges too slowly
Doubled the increase value for all actions.
Character clings and moves rapidly due to throw-related bugs
Cannot resolve immediately but added a provisional fix to release the hold if either character is idle.
Round count is always added to Player 1
Mistake in the round point addition process. Fixed.
Win/loss count is not updated in Game Set
Had been untouched since UI improvements. Fixed.
Zdrada can infinite loop using 5B > 5B2 > 2B > 5B... chain combos
Removed the chain from 2B to B.
Enable canceling 6A into special moves and EX Moves
Understood.
UI layout misaligns depending on the display resolution
Adjusted the Canvas Scaler component to automatically adjust the UI layout based on display size. However, non-16:9 aspect ratios still cause layout issues. Plan to implement fixed resolution processing in the future.
The materials ordered so far have been arriving in droves. The sheer variety and quantity of the capsule toy items are overwhelming.
Spent countless hours packing acrylic stands and mini-books into the capsules.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported us this year.
While we pushed forward with the goal of releasing the game publicly this year, various detours prevented us from achieving that goal. From getting a motorcycle license to the failed rollback netcode implementation, to unexpectedly spending significant effort on comic events and the Helltaker comic updates taking longer than anticipated, I sincerely apologize for not meeting expectations.
To focus more on Hellversus, I will halt comic production and Mortal Tear development this month.
To be honest, many of my followers look forward to my comics the most, so this decision pains me deeply.
However, Hellversus is very close to being ready for public release. I want to achieve that goal first and decide on the next steps afterward.
The fact that I’ve been able to continue developing Hellversus this year is thanks to all of you who have supported me.
I’m sure this year has been tough for everyone reading this as well.
The fact that you’ve continued to invest in this project is something I always keep in mind.
There were many moments when I felt emotionally drained, but your presence always kept me going.
Early next year, I will make the demo publicly available without fail.
I would be grateful if you could watch over us just a little longer.
