So I finally took the jump and got a subscription to a render farm. Seeing that this animation was going to take over 100 hours to render on my own really pushed me into the decision. I've taken the last few days to get myself familiar with the site and getting everything working and decided to use this animation as a test to see how well it would work. Unfortunately I had to drop the quality on this animation a bit because the per frame render time was to high for them so it has suffered a bit on that end, but I should be able to fix that no problem on future animations. It was mainly the volumetrics that did it on this animation, and now that I finally figured out how to make those work I cut back on using them so much. All in all I think the render farm will probably cut render times in half, and on top of that I can actually use my computer and work on projects a lot more often now which will hopefully lead to me being able to put out more content once I get this fully up and going. I still have some work to do to fully understand some things with the render farm, like using 3rd party add-ons and baking physics but their support has been super awesome so far and I'll learn it all eventually so here's to a hopefully better and more productive future. Files have been added to their archives.
