Hello everyone! Thank you as always for your support. Let's take a look at this week's progress!

Demo Update

Please download the latest version using the new password "YJ8YigCPLMk2ZjJ".

- Manually specified frame counts for all actions internally.

- Applied combo scaling to damage, which you can test in Practice Mode.

- Bug fixes reported on Discord:

  - Fixed hitbox issue for Modus 2B.

  - Fixed knockback when hitting opponents with projectiles at the screen edge.

  - Addressed unnatural behavior on slam attack hit.

  - Modus's heart now correctly hits multiple times regardless of distance.

Regarding the CPU throw bug, currently, the CPU executes actions directly rather than through key inputs, allowing it to perform actions at impossible timings. To fix this, changing the CPU's behavior to key input mode is necessary. Given the delicate and complex nature of input control, I plan to address this next week or later. However, implementing this functionality is inevitable for key input storage and rollback support in the future.

Photon Information Gathering

Since there was limited documentation, I contacted Photon's company via phone but received no answer. Instead, I used their email form for inquiries, but the information obtained was mostly similar to what I found independently. Eventually, I discovered a new website that seems promising, so I'll rely on it for now.

Information from experienced Photon users suggests that rollback can be implemented within the limits of the free service. However, a paid plan is required for a certain number of simultaneous connections.

Development of Mini-Game for Photon Testing

Implementing Photon directly into Hellversus poses risks, so I decided to create a mini-game for testing purposes. Despite its intended simplicity, I found myself enjoying the process and ended up polishing it unnecessarily.

For those above Inferno level, here's a little secret hidden in the game.

Currently, it's a single-player offline game, but once Photon is implemented, all characters will become playable.

- Implement online functionality into the mini-game.

- Begin manga production for September.
