#Concept

At first, I was thinking of drawing a cool Justice.

However, when I draw it, it doesn't look like Justice.

It was close to Halloween when I was drawing it, so I decided to change it to Justice enjoying the festival.

It's a little uncool to hold a balloon as it is, so let's hold a big size popcorn. I will also add a depiction of spilling popcorn. Since both the rough and concept were solidified, I moved on to the line art.

#Line

In the past, I didn't move on to the line art because I was worried that the sketches weren't ready to some extent at the rough stage.

Recently, it's easier to revise the drawing once the lines are organized, so I try to start the line drawing as soon as I'm done with the rough draft.

This time, the camera is barely touching the ground, so the background looks difficult, so I finish the line art of the character first.

Since the line drawing is the work of filling in the details, I will shape it while looking at the collected materials.

Boots seemed to be the point this time, so I did my best.

I'm thinking that the expression of the balloon's string is a little strange, or that it doesn't look like he's holding a balloon's string, but I've exhausted the energy from the line drawing work, so at this point, the character's line drawing is complete.

I roughly put the perspective at the time of rough drawing, but it's not correct at all because it's all drawn by hand. I didn't even set a vanishing point.

It takes a lot of effort to get an accurate perspective, so I will proceed with an accuracy of about 50 to 60%.

Create a colored rough background based on this perspective.

Draw only the kitchen car, which is probably the one closest to you. I plan to draw the buildings as simply as possible, as it is difficult to create line drawings.

I regret it because I have a lot to draw at this point.

#Fill color

Now that the main line drawing is done, I will create the color surface layer that will be the base of the painting.

Although it doesn't use the brain, it's a work that gets closer to the image of the completed image at once, so here's a mental recovery.

#Ditail things

If the drinks and popcorn are left white, it will be difficult to get an impression, so I will give priority to writing the patterns. I draw with reference to the materials I collect from Pinterest and image searches, aiming for a design that looks like it.

Add shadows with multiply blend type .

I changed the shape of the right hand, which was a concern during the line drawing, to a shape that holds a string, and made the string a wide ribbon-like one to make it easier to see.

I draw the ground using perspective lines. I prefer to have a texture, so I composite the texture with soft light. Do not draw the part that is hidden by the frame or the front layer. I'm happy because I don't have to draw what I can't see.

Adjust the color of your character. This time there is a background, so I will create a sense of atmosphere to make it look like the character is in that space. The solid color is too dark to look like you are under a clear sky. I will adjust the color scheme to bring it closer to the blue of the sky. When you look at the adjusted color (right) alone, it looks more blue than black, but when combined with the background, it looks like black clothes. The shadow color of the shirt is also purple to add a bluish tint.

#Finish color

After writing to some extent, check the visibility by looking at the whole. There are too many balloons and Justice's face is obscured, so I reduced one.

It's a subtle difference, but here and there I use aerial perspective to express depth.
