Let's check the progress this week!

#Prepare for Modeus

There is still work to be done on Zdrada, but I started working on Modeus this week. Based on the reflection of Zdrada production, I decided to make a three-sided drawing first. This is a reference for checking character proportions for each animation. The nuances of the facial features have been brought closer to the original.

Also, as we have already tried with Zdorada, each part of the body is grouped into parts so that the body can be assembled quickly.

Modeus uses a sledgehammer as a weapon, which also takes a long time to draw, so I asked Excinis-san for a 3D model. It was made in a short amount of time!😍 His 3D technology is amazing.

Incorporating this into your animation sketch will be faster than drawing from scratch. As a test, I drew the original picture of the standby motion.

The animation didn't make it in time. It seems that the movement of the heart around the face needs to be devised. It will probably move like particles.

#Background

I've finished sculpting out the final layer of the stage, just need to create the lowpoly geometry and then I can go on and finish up with details and textures!
also going to redo the textures and some of the geometry for the first layer to make it look better
I put the characters in there so I can compare them to the size of the background objects
all the things in white have no textures
I'll also be adjusting the lighting as it's very basic right now

#Comic work

I made a little progress with the Pandemonica comic scheduled to be released this month. The publication of this comic is intended to promote Hellversus and the recruitment of voice actors for Modeus. It has been released earlier than Inferno. However, I regret that I should have worked on the comic on Saturdays and Sundays.😣

#Voice implementation

Abi-san gave me some Zdrada voices, so I implemented them in-game. I made a mechanism to randomly play from among multiple, but in the process I had trouble finding a way to access the properties of the class by string. After spending a lot of time, I ended up forcibly implementing it with a switch statement as usual. Hurry up and turn around.😥

Since it is a demo update, sharing will be at the end of this month, but I found issues such as the sound being small and not matching the action. I will share these with Abi-san and have them fix it.

I also learned how to use scriptable objects. It doesn't really show its full potential in fighting games, but in games where many instances are generated, it is a technology that can realize overwhelming weight reduction of processing!

I successfully completed the GGST Celestial Challenge on the 29th of last month, but today I was sent back to the 10th floor.🙄
