Hi everyone! My apologize, I couldn't proceed with the line work as I expected this week. 😣 As the number of people involved has increased, many unexpected jobs have started to occur. After all animators may have to consider recruiting on Twitter. Let's check the progress this week!

#Line work

#Background work

If the 3D background is not in time for the beta, I will prepare the 2D background.

#Rollback

I heard from Sweden, our programmer, that he has not yet obtained the information to advance the net code. We both know how rollback works, but neither knows anything about netcode. Therefore, it was necessary to first learn from the basics of the p2p mechanism. So I was looking into how to proceed with the netcode earlier this week to help him. I also don't know anything about them, so as usual, I was taught by a senior in the FG community. And I got to know some net codes.

• Photon: Easy to learn. I have an experience to use this. But pay version are too expensive.
• UFE2 PRO: FG maker for unity. has Rollback system Based on Photon. But has desync trouble not resolving yet.
• MLAPI: Available from Unity package manager.
• LiteNetLib: I don't know so much.
• EOS: Free to use. But need C++(we are using C#), and a lot of work.
• Fishnet: I don't know so much.

I introduced these to Sweden and he liked Fishnet and chose it. Using it, he is working for online test. Main game is too complicated to learn basic online system, he is testing character select. We may be able to connect with each other with that simple online test later this month. Online matches are essential for fighting games. It would be great if it could be realized soon!✨

#Voice actor

I made a reminder tweet because there are only half a month left until the application deadline. Also, there was a person who misunderstood how to apply, so I supported it. As a result, there were new applications from 6 people, but it seems that the number will increase a little more.

#Other thing

Currently, I am basically handwriting, but I feel the need to learn 3D. This is because 3D can be used to efficiently realize rich expressions. After the alpha version is completed, I would like to do some research if I can afford it.

In Japan, summer is approaching and the temperature is rising. I harvest cucumbers from my garden on a daily basis. I also ate too much ice cream and caught a cold. 🥶🍨Please be careful, too!
