BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE!
A new release is waiting for you on December 25th!
Original Description:
A new showroom is available to showcase your newest cars! This one is special: you can now use lively animations on the provided displays!
It's pretty simple: you can use the provided animations or make your own. Just think about the possibilities and the fantastic reels/tiktok videos you can make with it.
What's special with this showroom?
A new way to customize it as you wish!
Let's take a look at how to do so.
- 1. All the customization is controlled by the ext_config.ini. You don't have to change any other file, just ext_config, contained in the extension's folder of the track.
- 2. You have now a palette of 28 different colors ready to mix and match to set your lights and make your perfect shot. The first part defines these color, so don't touch them. Optionally, you can define a custom or more colors to use.
- 3. Lights Control Part: This section controls colors and intensity of every light in the studio. You can specify different light colors for the studio. Read more below.
- 3. Objects Control Part: This section controls the visible objects of the showroom. You can change visibility by using $ON or $OFF as values. Remember to restart your game after a change. Read more below.
- 4. This Showroom supports up to 5 Cars. Start the game in Track mode with up to 5 opponents to show the other cars.
- 5. This showroom has different animations! Animations are controlled by the config.txt file in the extension folder. Read more below.
How to change animations
- Look for the desired anim folder (in the extension folder too) and take note of the latest frame number and file extension
- Open the config.txt in the extension folder
- Set the right number of frames to the frames variable
- Set the dir variable accordingly to the folder name of the animation
- Set the number of digits of the file names (all of the included anims have 5 digits)
- Set the correct file extension (all the included anims are jpg)
- Be sure to take care of the all the parts of the files, just change the values.
How to hide/show objects
- Open the ext_config.ini in the extension folder
- In the object control section, set the element to $ON or $OFF as desired.
- Save and Restart your game
- You can hide/show the lights set and the floor water
How to change light colors
- Open the ext_config.ini in the extension folder
- In the lights section, change the value of LightColor1 or LightColorSet to one of the provided colors on the top of the file. For example, if you want to set the set of lights to red, you can use LightColorSet = $Red want it blue? LightColorSet = $Blue For the intensity, change the value of the numbers.
⚠ Seeing the 3D Pit Crew guys near your cars? Want to get rid once and for all of them? Ptcrew and Pitcrew_Left.kn5 are included in the zip. Just read the readme to replace them.
Using the map in track day with 2 or more opponents is great if you already enabled the walking out mode included in CSP to move the cars on the studio (Thanks to Chris Goleador for this tip!) Take a look here if you want to know more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwhd4yvj7q8
